OUR JOURNEY

A practical response to a growing need.
Most training providers are supporting a learner group where mental health challenges are common and a significant proportion of SEND needs remain hidden or undiagnosed, creating complexity for delivery teams without specialist support.

NOVEMBER 2023

FOUNDED WITH A CLEAR PURPOSE

CASE was founded in November 2023 after identifying a growing need for flexible, specialist learner support services that could be easily accessed by colleges, training providers and apprenticeship organisations. Many providers faced increasing learner support requirements, complex funding arrangements and limited access to specialist expertise. CASE was created to bridge that gap, providing a single solution for Additional Learning Support, SEND provision, specialist interventions and ongoing support management.

Built to provide providers with practical, scalable and compliant learner support solutions.

AUGUST 2024

Beginning Direct Learner Support

In August 2024, CASE began supporting learners through its expanding network of specialist practitioners, mentors, wellbeing professionals and assistive technology partners. Working closely with our first provider, we developed systems and processes that allow support to be implemented quickly, monitored effectively and evidenced appropriately, while reducing pressure on teaching, delivery and learner support teams.

Turning identified learner needs into meaningful support and measurable outcomes.

Our growing network of professionals has delivered over 400 mental health support sessions, supplied more than 350 assistive technology packages, and assured and recorded over 50,000 hours of specialist mentoring support.

Delivering support at scale while retaining a personalised approach to every learner.

Building Trusted Partnerships

Our growth has been driven through long-term partnerships with providers who want flexible, high-quality support solutions without the complexity of managing multiple suppliers and systems. By combining specialist expertise, technology, reporting and operational support, we've developed a model that allows providers to access the services they need while maintaining compliance, quality and learner-centred delivery.

Acting as an extension of provider teams rather than simply a service supplier.

Continuing to Innovate

As learner needs continue to evolve, CASE continues to invest in new technologies, specialist partnerships and support solutions that improve learner engagement, accessibility and achievement. Our focus remains on creating simple, effective and sustainable approaches to learner support that help providers meet the needs of an increasingly diverse learner population.

Continually improving the way learner support is delivered, managed and evidenced.

Looking Ahead

Our ambition is to support many more learners and providers over the coming years, extending access to specialist support services and helping organisations create inclusive learning environments where every learner has the opportunity to succeed. By growing our network, strengthening our partnerships and expanding our service offer, we aim to continue removing barriers and improving outcomes for learners across the education and training sector.

Helping more learners thrive through accessible, specialist and evidence-based support.
